recently diagnosed with adult onset Hydrocephalus. All proceeds go to insure Jimmy will receive the medical
care he needs, so he will be able to continue to share his unique blend of tasteful drumming that has
moved audiences for the past 40 years.
Jimmy Sanchez' is known for his powerful rhythms, uncanny musical sense, and the ability to draw
the best performances from many of the musicians he has played with. Jimmy's extraordinary talent
first gave him the opportunity to perform with T-Bone Walker, and Charles Brown. In the 80's,
Jimmy toured with Queen Ida, Kingfish with Bob Weir, and Maria Muldaur. By the 90's, Jimmy's
list of impressive recordings and performance dates include Tom Waits, Dr. John, J.J. Cale,
Boz Scaggs, Bill Withers, Ray Manaarek, T-Bone Burnett, Paul Schaffer, GE Smith, Irma Thomas,
Kermit Ruffin, John Lee Sanders, Santa Esmeralda and Ramblin' Jack Elliot (a partial list).
is touring experiences include, Roy Rogers, Maria Muldaur, Commander Cody, Jim Chappell and Moonalice, to name a few.
